In the Southern Song Dynasty (1216), the temple was relocated to its current location due to the risk of collapse caused by the river's current. It was renamed "Jing'an Temple," taking a character from the era name "Jiading" at the time. The name embodies the wish for peace, "to be quiet and at peace."
• "The Sixth Spring Under Heaven" and the Eight Scenic Views of Jing'an: In the past, a famous spring known as "Yuquan" gushed forth within the grounds of Jing'an Temple, and it was praised as the "Sixth Spring Under Heaven."
