"Why Choose Us"

Q: How do payments work while traveling in China?

A: Mobile payment is the standard in China. While some shops still accept cash, most people rely on Alipay and WeChat Pay for everyday transactions. It is now common to go out without carrying a wallet.

With Pandaland Trip, we guide you through how to use Alipay and WeChat Pay before you pay your trip deposit. This means that whether you are making payments from your home country or paying locally while in China, you can enjoy a safe, convenient, and seamless mobile payment experience.

Experiencing cashless payment is also one of the unique and fascinating aspects of traveling in China.

Q: Is traveling in China dangerous?

A: No. China is a country governed by the rule of law, and public safety is generally very good. Comprehensive security measures are in place, with surveillance systems widely installed in both main streets and residential areas.
That said, as with travel to any country, visitors should respect local laws and customs and take basic precautions, such as keeping personal belongings secure.

At Pandaland Trip, your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. Q: Do I currently need a visa to travel to China?

A: It depends on your nationality and travel itinerary.
Currently, citizens of multiple countries are eligible for visa-free entry to China for up to 30 days for purposes such as tourism, business, visiting family or friends, cultural exchange, or transit. This visa-free policy is valid until December 31, 2026.
In addition, China offers convenient transit visa exemptions, including:

Q: I'm worried about altitude sickness at high altitudes.

A: Altitude sickness varies from person to person. If you have concerns related to your heart, lungs, or overall health, we recommend consulting your doctor before departure.

That said, most travelers adapt well with the right preparation. Helpful precautions include maintaining good health before your trip, staying well hydrated, ensuring sufficient sugar intake, and avoiding smoking or alcohol before and during your stay at high altitude.

With Pandaland Trip, there’s no need to worry excessively. We provide portable oxygen canisters, include travel insurance, and our experienced guides closely monitor your condition throughout the journey.
The itinerary pace is adjusted according to your physical condition, ensuring a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable travel experience—even in high-altitude regions.

Q: What type of power plugs and voltage are used in China?

A: China generally uses Type A (two-pin) plugs, which are compatible with many devices from overseas.
However, the standard voltage in China is 220V.
Most modern electronics—such as smartphones, cameras, and laptops—support a wide voltage range (usually 100–240V), so they can be used safely without any issue. We recommend checking the voltage label on your device or charger before traveling.
If your device does not support 220V, a voltage converter will be required.
