Day 1

Jiuzhaigou Tour — “Jewel-Like Lakes” Scattered Among the Mountains

Jiuzhaigou → Tibetan Family Guesthouse

Mirror Sea: A famous spot in Jiuzhaigou where the lake surface reflects the mountains and forests like a mirror. A mysterious landscape enveloped in silence and transparency.

Panda Sea: The impressive emerald green waters of Panda Sea are a tranquil lake where legend has it that pandas once played.
Nuorilang Center: This is the base for sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou. Many tourists come here to have lunch, rest, and enjoy the spectacular views.

Morning

At the scheduled time, your guide and private vehicle will pick you up from your hotel or the railway station to begin a full day of exploring Jiuzhaigou.

◦ [Forest and Lake Walks]    

You will travel within the scenic area by eco-bus. Although the scenic area is large, your guide will guide you efficiently and allow you to enjoy the wonderful spots at your own pace. For example, the following spots are carefully selected as must-see attractions with stunning views.

◆ Mirror Lake: In the stillness of the morning, this lake reflects the surrounding mountains like a natural mirror. The dreamlike scenery feels like a living painting.
◆ Panda Lake: Known for its crystal-clear blue waters, this vibrant and beautiful lake is said to be a place where pandas once came to drink.
◆ Five-Color Pond: A mystical pool shimmering from emerald green to cobalt blue, created by submerged trees and mineral-rich waters. It is the most colorful, jewel-like highlight of Jiuzhaigou.

Lunch

Dining is available at the Nuorilang Center within the park. Choose from local snacks to chain restaurants to suit your tastes.

Beautiful Changhai Scenery: Changhai is the highest point in Jiuzhaigou. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it offers a mystical view.
Wuhuahai (Peacock Sea): The "Jewel of Jiuzhaigou" is a mixture of various colors, including green, blue, and gold. A mysterious lake whose color changes depending on the angle from which you view it.

Afternoon

◦ [Spectacular Waterfalls and Mystical Lakes]

Continue sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou in the afternoon. If you feel tired, we recommend taking a break and enjoying the scenery with a cup of coffee.
   

◆ Long Lake: The highest, largest, and deepest lake in Jiuzhaigou. Encircled by mountains, it offers a majestic and almost sacred atmosphere.
◆ Five Flower Lake: One of Jiuzhaigou’s most iconic sights, also known as the “Peacock Lake.” Variations in water depth, submerged trees, and algae create a stunning mosaic of colors within a single lake. Its deep indigo sections are sometimes called the “Tears of an Angel,” reflecting its overwhelming beauty.
◆ Nuorilang Waterfall: One of the widest waterfalls in China, cascading powerfully from the forest above. The roaring sound and misty spray create an awe-inspiring spectacle.

Tibetan Restaurant: Enjoy traditional cuisine with simple yet bold flavours in a setting decorated with carved wood and colourful fabrics.

Campfire: Under the night sky, tourists and Tibetans join hands and dance in a circle, creating a warm and intimate scene.

Evening

-Visit to a Tibetan Guesthouse-

As a unique feature of Pandaland Trip, we highly recommend visiting a guesthouse run by local Tibetan families. Here, you can enjoy a Tibetan-style dinner, take commemorative photos in traditional costumes, watch ethnic dance performances, and join a campfire gathering. If you wish, interacting with local people will make your journey even more meaningful and memorable.

Dinner will be served at a Tibetan-owned restaurant. Savor highland specialties such as yak meat dishes and warm Tibetan butter tea, while enjoying a colorful Tibetan song-and-dance performance in traditional attire.

After the meal, you are invited to join a campfire gathering. Form a circle with local residents, experience traditional dances, and share a warm and joyful time of cultural exchange.

At the end of the day, your guide and private vehicle will escort you back to your hotel. The guide will assist with check-in procedures if needed.This concludes Day 1 of your Jiuzhaigou tour.

Day 2

Huanglong Tour — The “Golden Dragon” Painting the Mountainside

Huanglong → Local Specialty Cuisine → Railway Station

Gosaiike Pond: A representative spot in Huanglong, where the lake surface sparkles with layers of blue, green, and gold. It is truly a "pool in the sky."
Huanglong's unique travertine landscape is a work of art created by nature over many years.
Huanglong's "Golden Sand Paving" is a glittering sight, with golden karst formations spreading across the valley.
Huanglong's "Flying Waterfalls and Brilliance." The sparkle of pure water flowing down the terraced fields of travertine.

Morning

​At the designated time, your guide and private vehicle will pick you up at the hotel to begin a full day of exploration in Huanglong.

Along the way, stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking a vast mountain range rising over 4,000 meters above sea level, where you can capture panoramic views of peaks floating above a sea of clouds.

Upon arrival at Huanglong, take a cable car directly up the mountain, minimizing walking time and allowing easy access to the core scenic area.

◦ [A Walk Through Spectacular Scenery] (Recommended)

◆Five-Color Pools (Huanglong): The highlight of Huanglong, where more than 3,000 colorful pools cascade down the mountainside like terraced fields. Sparkling emerald and turquoise waters under the sunlight have earned them the name “Pools in the Sky.”
◆Golden Sand Paved Shoal (Jinsha Pudi): Golden travertine formations flowing down the slope, resembling a vast river frozen in motion—an extraordinary and radiant landscape.
◆Feipu Liuhui (Shimmering Waterfalls): Glowing waterfalls cascading from golden terraces, representing the dynamic and ever-changing beauty of Huanglong’s waters.

 

( The average elevation of the Huanglong Scenic Area is approximately 3,500 meters. For your comfort and safety, Pandaland Trip provides oxygen canisters as standard support. Return journey

Your guide and private vehicle will then accompany you to the railway station for your return to Chengdu. If needed, the guide will assist you with check-in and boarding procedures.
