Day 1
Gateway to the Highlands — Chengdu to Siguniang
Chengdu → Siguniang Town

~8:00 AM — Depart from Chengdu
Your guide and private vehicle pick you up at your Chengdu hotel.
Heading west into the mountains of Sichuan, you'll cross Balang Mountain (3,800m) — locally nicknamed the "Kingdom of Pandas" for its lush alpine meadows. The road winds through dramatic landscapes, with photo stops at Maobiliang, one of the best viewpoints for the full Siguniang massif. Arrive at Siguniang Town, where your guide handles check-in. Take it easy — today is all about acclimatization.
~12:00 PM — Lunch
Your guide brings you to a handpicked local restaurant. Think yak hotpot, Sichuan mountain vegetables, and hearty highland fare — fuel for the days ahead.

Afternoon — Shuangqiaogou (Double Bridge Valley) Walk
A gentle stroll through Shuangqiaogou (~3,200m) — the perfect acclimatization activity. Alpine meadows stretch beneath the four peaks of Siguniang: Dafeng, Erfeng, Sanfeng, and the razor-sharp Yaomei (6,250m). This valley is a botanical treasure trove:
◆ Late spring–summer: Rhododendrons, edelweiss, and rare blue poppies in bloom
◆ Clear days: Crisp views of all four snow-capped peaks
◆ Wildlife: Wild yaks and musk deer occasionally spotted
~7:00 PM — Dinner & Rest
After the pre‑trip briefing, your guide will take you to a local restaurant of your choice, where you can enjoy a hearty dinner tailored to your tastes. Then it’s an early night back at the hotel — a good rest is essential to recharge your energy. Tomorrow, the mountain will be waiting, and you’ll be ready to embrace the challenge.
Day 2
Above the Clouds — Trek to Base Camp
Siguniang Town → Foothills → Base Camp (4,379m)

Morning — The Climb Begins
After breakfast, around 8:00 AM, the real journey starts. Walking through the foothills, you'll gain elevation gradually — deep breaths, steady steps. The landscape unfolds like a painting: vivid alpine flowers against distant snow peaks, the kind of contrast that exists nowhere else.
◆ Guide adjusts pace to match every participant — no rush, no pressure
◆ Sichuan endemic flora: Cobalt-blue meconopsis poppies, crimson rhododendron
◆ Panoramic views of Dafeng and Erfeng from the valley
Lunch — Trail Snacks
Pandaland Trip provides packed trail food: chocolate, energy bars, beef jerky. Bring your own favorites too — whatever keeps you going.
Base Camp Arrival (4,379m)
You've reached your home for the night — at the same altitude as the clouds. Set against a world of snow and rock, tents are pitched. Drop your pack, rest a while, then attend the final briefing for tomorrow's summit push. Tonight's sky is something else — far from any city lights, at over 4,000m, the Milky Way spills across the darkness in a way you've never seen before.
◆ Tents and sleeping bags arranged by Pandaland Trip (contact us for details)
◆ If altitude symptoms appear, your guide responds immediately — descent support always available
⚠️ Altitude Note:
Above 4,000m, mild headaches and shortness of breath are normal. Your guide continuously monitors everyone's condition and makes judgment calls with safety as the absolute priority. No summit is worth risking your health — and we mean that.
Evening — Camp Dinner
A warm, hearty meal at 4,300m — exactly what your body needs. Rest, recharge, and drift off under the stars. Tomorrow is summit day.
Day 3
The Summit — Dafeng Peak (5,025m) and Return to Chengdu
BC (4,379m) → Summit (5,025m) → Siguniang Town → Chengdu

~3:00 AM — Wake Up. Summit Push Begins.
Under a canopy of stars, you strap on your headlamp and start walking. The air is thin, your breath is visible, and every step feels meaningful. This is the essence of mountaineering — that mix of tension and purpose that only comes when you're pushing toward something real. Your guide monitors pace constantly, keeping everyone safe.
◆ Summit push duration: ~4 hours (varies by individual)
◆ Essential gear: Headlamp, insulated layers, rain gear
◆ Pre-departure health check by your guide for every climber
~7:00 AM — SUMMIT! (5,025m)
You made it. Standing at 5,025 meters, you look down on a world of clouds. Yaomei Peak (6,250m) rises impossibly sharp to your side. Beyond, the Tibetan Plateau stretches toward the horizon. This view — this feeling — is why you came. Breathe it in. You've earned every molecule of this air.
◆ 360° panorama: All four Siguniang peaks visible below you
◆ On clear days: Mount Gongga (7,556m) visible in the distance
◆ Your guide captures the summit photo — the one that goes on your wall

Morning — Sunrise Over the Snow Peaks
Near the summit, watch the sunrise paint the snow-capped ridges in shades of crimson and gold. If the weather cooperates, this is the kind of scene that makes your shutter finger ache. A once-in-a-lifetime palette of light, snow, and sky.
~10:30 AM — Rest at Base Camp
Descend to Base Camp, rest, and refuel with trail snacks. Let the summit sink in.
Afternoon — Descent to Siguniang Town
Break camp and walk back down, retracing ~15 km of trail with a new perspective — you're no longer heading toward the mountain; you're returning from its summit. For those finding the descent tough on the knees, horseback riding is available with advance reservation.
~3:30 PM — Arrive at Siguniang Town
Back at the hotel. Shower, rest, or wander through town — maybe find a small café and let the achievement settle in. Souvenir shops offer yak-wool scarves, Tibetan crafts, and local snacks.
~4:00 PM — Return to Chengdu
Settle into the private vehicle and watch Siguniang's silhouette recede in the rear window. The drive back is quiet, reflective — the kind of quiet that comes after you've done something that matters.

~8:00 PM — Arrive in Chengdu. Celebrate! 🎉
You're back. And you're a different person than when you left. Sichuan hotpot or a celebratory feast is the only appropriate response — your guide helps with ordering and payment so you can focus on toasting your achievement. Congratulations — you climbed a 5,000-meter peak. Few people on this planet can say that.
Evening
Return to the hotel and take some time to rest.
With this, your 3‑day Mount Siguniang trekking tour comes to a close.
Congratulations on reaching the summit!
Carry the memories of this journey with you – and on to your next adventure.
