• Qiankun Pillar: The inspiration for the floating mountains in Avatar—especially magical when wrapped in mist.

• Helong Park: Admire iconic Zhangjiajie landscapes such as Imperial Writing Brush Peaks and Fairy Scattering Flowers, where slender stone pillars rise like a masterpiece shaped by nature.
• Tianzi Pavilion: From the viewing platform, enjoy a sweeping 360-degree panorama—truly a “view fit for a king.”

As the gondola glides downward, watch the peaks glow in the evening light, bringing the day’s unforgettable moments full circle.

A beloved Zhangjiajie specialty, Tujia Sanxia Guo is a hearty wok-and-pot dish made with three kinds of pork and seasonal vegetables, rich in flavor and energy. Best enjoyed with local Snow Beer.

•A relaxed walk of about 6 km through a lush valley known as a “natural oxygen bar.” Breathe in the fresh air and feel the unique forest energy, different from that of Japan.
• With the gentle sound of the stream as background music, enjoy spotting the unusual rock formations—some of which appeared in Journey to the West. Time seems to slow down in this peaceful setting.

At shops or small restaurants near the end of the trail. Try local specialties such as kudzu starch dessert or stir-fried rock fungus with egg, both unique to the Zhangjiajie region.

• Travel by eco bus.
• One of China’s largest limestone caves, often called the “Dragon Palace.” Highlights include the towering stalagmite known as the “Sea-Calming Needle” and a boat ride along an underground river, offering a true journey beneath the earth.

• World’s Longest Cable Car: Enjoy a 7.5 km aerial walk from the city to the mountaintop. This scenic journey itself is an adventure, offering panoramic views that change with every moment.
• Tianmen Cave: A massive natural arch near the summit. Climb 999 steps to reach the “Gate to Heaven” and experience its immense scale.
• Glass Skywalk: A thrilling glass-floored walkway on the edge of a sheer cliff. Walk above the valley and take in the magnificent panoramic landscape beneath your feet.
