The biggest surprise about Hongya Cave is that both the first floor (Jiabin Road) and the eleventh floor (the road surface on the Jiefangbei side) are connected to the road above ground. • Stairs and elevators: There are stairs leading from the 11th floor to the 1st floor, but they can get very crowded. There is also an elevator available for a fee (about 5-10 RMB), but there are often long lines.
• Best photo spot: If you want to take photos of Hongyadong itself, the best spots are across the road from the first floor and on top of the Qianxianmen Bridge, where you can capture the entire view and its reflection on the water.
